We could save over $2 billion on healthcare over the next 10 years, it is time we have a national healthcare system that works for everyone. We must help our fellow American brothers and sisters avoid bankruptcy and divorces because of debt.  

During the pandemic the fossil fuel industry has made record profits on families who commute more than 10 hours per week to work. It is time to lower the gas prices to offset the price gouging practices of the industry and to support the working class by alleviating debts. The private sector has increased the price of goods and services to make record profits during and post a pandemic. The buck stops here! 

It is important to use the money allocated to the Pentagon on the veterans that served in the military. Our veterans must be housed and be provided with permanent care no matter if short or long term, as well as renovating vacant properties to house our homeless population who need support too.

We must lower the sales taxes for household making under $175K because while we pay high taxes, millionaires and billionaires aren’t paying their fair share, they are paying zero and sometimes they are receiving refunds and credits when we can use that money to solve homelessness.  

FDR signed the New Deal, today I support the Green New Deal because our communities would have the opportunity to be placed in high paying energy careers. We need Green Renewable Energy to benefit our communities, our planet, our quality of life, reducing our carbon emission, and cooling the ocean floor. As we know marine life is being killed because the ocean floor is getting too hot. We need immediate action. 

We must stop I.C.E. raids on our undocumented families. It is important that everyone in this country is accounted and represented. Remember the Boston Tea Party phrase “No Taxation Without Representation”.  This is why I support an immediate path to citizenship because it reduces labor abuse and transition the underground economy into our GDP making it higher for our country. Although GDP is not the only way to measure our counties success.
